‘FRIENDS’ STAR MATTHEW PERRY DEAD AT 54 …

Matthew Perry, famed for his role as Chandler Bing in the ’90s sitcom “Friends,” has died at 54. First responders rushed to his home after a call about cardiac arrest in a jacuzzi, with no foul play suspected.

In his last Instagram post, Perry was seen in an infinity pool, captioned, “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.”

Perry’s life was marred by addiction, as detailed in his 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.” He admitted, “I have it as bad as you can have it. It’s going to kill me.” He echoed Robert Downey Jr.’s description of addiction, saying, “There’s still a gun. Fortunately, I guess, there’s not enough opiates in the world to make me high anymore.”

Perry consumed55 Vicodin tablets and a quart of vodka daily at one point. In recent years, fans noticed concerning changes in his behavior, signaling his ongoing struggle.
