On March 23, 1994, Aeroflot Flight 593, traveling from Moscow to Hong Kong, tragically crashed, killing all 75 passengers and crew. The incident occurred after Relief Captain Yaroslav Kudrinsky allowed his children, Yana and Eldar, to sit in the cockpit.
Though the autopilot was set, Eldar’s actions on the controls overrode it, causing the plane to lose stability. Despite the pilots’ efforts to regain control, the aircraft stalled and spun, crashing into the Kuznetsk Alatau Mountain range. The tragic accident resulted in the deaths of everyone on board.
