Michael J Fox & Tracy Pollan to Celebrate 35th Anniversary — She Didn’t Like Him at First but Now Fights for His Life

Michael J. Fox is an actor who rose to fame in the 1980s with the television series “Family Ties” and the “Back to the Future” film franchise.

For almost 35 years, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan have been a happy couple. Early in their marriage, they had to deal with the challenge of Fox’s diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. But more than three decades later, they started a family and a happy life together.

Michael J. Fox has been acting for a very long time. It started in the 1970s. He became famous after appearing in the TV program “Family Tie”. He also had a successful career and won actress Tracy Pollan as his best wife and life partner. During almost 35 years of marriage, they were faithful to each other.

Through good times and bad, the couple only grew stronger and didn’t let their troubles change how they felt about each other.

Even though Pollan wasn’t Fox’s biggest fan when they started dating, maybe they didn’t make it that far. She thought he was conceited and full of himself.

But when they had the chance to work together, she had a different view of him. Fox turned out to be intelligent and witty, and it only took Pollan two weeks of working with him to recognize these remarkable traits in him.

The couple eventually married, but in 1991 Fox received some life-changing news that put their marriage to the test. Fox saw the doctor when his little finger started twitching violently one morning.

A Manhattan neurologist diagnosed him with Parkinson’s disease at a young age. The actor escorted his wife into a dark hallway and delivered the bad news.

The couple sobbed and comforted each other, but Pollan assured her husband that nothing had changed because he was still the same man from yesterday, and she didn’t want them to forget that.

Fox is especially grateful for his wife’s help. She never thought their marriage was over when he revealed her illness to her in the hallway. She still didn’t see him differently because of his Parkinson’s disease.

According to Willie Geist, who spoke to Fox about his book “No Time from the Future” and revealed that his own father suffered from the condition, Parkinson’s is not a condition that a person experiences alone.

So it was a blessing for Fox to have Pollan by his side. The Back to the Future actor said: “Having a partner is really fantastic.

Fox kept his condition a secret for some time and tried to forget it by abusing alcohol and working multiple jobs.

He admitted that the situation got so bad that he started hiding the bottles from his wife. He drank to numb his emotions and walked away from his family.

Fox’s drinking problem had a negative impact on his marriage and Pollan acknowledged how terrifying it was to see her husband self-harming like this. But she was most afraid of what might result from his addiction.

Pollan realized it wasn’t the best way to live, especially for a man with a wife and kids, but it was up to Fox to make things better.
