Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk appears to believe that the Thursday debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump was little more than political theater.Musk took to his X platform shortly after the debate to give his thoughts, writing in response to a post from billionaire venture capitalist David Sacks: “They’re just talking puppets. It was a setup for a switch.”

Sacks wrote, “Watching the CNN commentators put the knife in Biden’s back is actually sickening. No loyalty. No remorse. It’s just gross.”Prior to the debate, Trump stunned some podcast hosts when he paid Biden a compliment of sorts.

“I assume he’s gonna be somebody that will be a worthy debater. … I don’t want to underestimate him,” he said when he appeared on an episode of the “All In” podcast, which is hosted by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Sacks, Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, and David Friedberg.(Continue reading more here
