A fierce warning has been sent to those who are imitating her, by the woman who holds the Guinness World Record for having the most bodily alterations.Known as the “real-life vampire” due to her unusual appearance, Maria José Cristerna has been working on her large collection of tattoos for the majority of her life. She had her first tattoo at the age of 14.

With 50 physical changes in total, the Mexican woman has cemented her spot as the most changed woman in the Guinness World Records for 2022.Among Cristerna’s unusual modifications are implants in her arms and forehead, multiple piercings, a split tongue, and an amazing collection of tattoos that cover almost her whole body, including her eyeballs.

Speaking to Guinness World Records, Cristerna admitted: “In the beginning, my dad didn’t agree with the idea. But after that, he took me to the tattoo studio to get my very first tattoo.” She emphasized her deep connection to art, stating: “Art runs through my veins. Since I was a little kid, I loved art, and now I can express it through my body.”
