Matthew Perry, famed for his role as Chandler Bing in the ’90s sitcom “Friends,” has died at 54. First responders rushed to his home after a call about cardiac arrest in a jacuzzi, with no foul play suspected.

It’s going to kill me.” He echoed Robert Downey Jr.’s description of addiction, saying, “There’s still a gun. Fortunately, I guess, there’s not enough opiates in the world to make me high anymore.”

Perry consumed55 Vicodin tablets and a quart of vodka daily at one point. In recent years, fans noticed concerning changes in his behavior, signaling his ongoing struggle.
