UPS Driver Notices ‘Call 911’ Written On Package – Ends Up Rescuing Woman Being Held Hostage

A UPS driver from Missouri is being hailed as a hero after he rescued a woman who was being held hostage and sexually assaulted by her husband. Thanks to his quick thinking, authorities were able to find her safely!

It all started when the driver was making one of his regularly scheduled stops at a home in rural Franklin County, which is located just west of St. Louis. As the driver delivered the package to the woman in the town of Robertsville, she managed to scrawl “call 911” on the box.

It turns out that James Tyler Jordan, 33, was holding his wife hostage inside the home and threatening to kill both her and himself. Court documents state that Jordan’s wife said that he would not let her leave the house, punched and slapped her, forced her to strip and sexually assaulted her. He kept holding a gun to her head threatening to kill her, saying that he would kill himself next.

A 3 year-old child was also in the home, and the toddler had been locked in a bedroom without food or water for 15 hours.

When the driver got to the house, Jordan forced his wife to talk to him as he stood behind her with a gun. When signing for the package, the woman managed to scrawl “call 911″ on it. The driver called the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department as soon as he got back to his truck, and a SWAT team quickly got to the home and arrested Jordan.

“He was a huge help,” Sergeant T.J. Wild of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said of the driver.

We applaud this driver for doing whatever it took to save this woman’s life and her child! Find out more about this in the video below, and SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this as well!
